Louis Cunningham, MD, FACC
A Jackson native, Dr. Cunningham founded Mid-South Heart Center in 1993. He received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Lane College in 1973. He is a graduate of Meharry Medical College where he served as an assistant professor. Dr. Cunningham completed his cardiology fellowship at Harlem Hospital in New York. He is a Board Certified Specialist in the field of cardiovascular disease and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Janie C. Daniel, FNP-BC, AACC
Janie has been a part of Mid-South Heart Center, PC since 1996, after graduating from University Of Tennessee Hsc, College Of Medicine with honors. She specialties in the fields of Nurse Practitioner and Cardiovascular Disease. Janie has over 25 years of diverse experiences in helping and treating patients.
Emad Mohamed, MD
A Cardiologist in the Jackson, Tennessee area, Emad Mohamed, M.D. has over 20 years of medical experience. Dr. Mohamed is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist as well as certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, making him uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive cardiovascular and heart care.
His medical degree was completed at the University of Khartoum in Sudan and then traveled to the United States to begin his Internal Medicine residency in Jackson, Mississippi. In his Fellowship at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine from 2000 to 2003, he specialized in Cardiovascular Disease.
His practice has been in Mississippi for more than a decade, and we are delighted that he will be joining the Mid-South Heart Center, PC family of physicians.
